The Buffalo Bills look like they could be the team of destiny right now.

Sean McDermott’s team is sitting at a record of 9-2 and is coming off a huge win at home over the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.

Former NFL quarterback and current NBC analyst Chris Simms joined the Dan Le Batard Show Friday afternoon to talk about the Bills being the biggest threat to the Chiefs in the AFC.

“The Bills are real this year. This is the most real team that they’ve had in awhile. If they play the Chiefs in the playoffs – they’re going to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs,” Simms bluntly said.

The Bills and Chiefs might have the biggest rivalry in the sport right now among rivalries out of the division.

While Kansas City has handled business in the playoffs against Buffalo in previous years, this season feels a little different.

Bills Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen is playing like an MVP as he has continued to utilize his multitude of weapons on offense.

Running back James Cook might be the most underrated running back in the game, and the addition of wide receiver Amari Cooper has made a huge difference too.

Defensively, this unit has been able to perform well after cutting ties with plenty of veterans from years past last offseason.

After seeing Buffalo handle Kansas City by two possessions last Sunday, that could make for an even spicier rematch if the teams were to meet down the road in late January.
