The Detroit Lions have only lost one game this season.
That loss was a playoff rematch vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.
Ever since that moment, they have beaten and dominated teams left and right, even some other Super Bowl contenders.
Notably, that loss was also the only time they failed to score at least 20 points all season.
As The 33rd Team on X pointed out, Dan Campbell’s team has posted one of the greatest offensive seasons of all time.
With almost half of the season ahead of us, the 2024 Lions are already the seventh team in NFL history to have at least three wins of 38+ points in a single season.
They’ve joined the 2021 New England Patriots, 1973 Atlanta Falcons, 1969 Minnesota Vikings, 1948 Philadelphia Eagles, 1920 Rock Island Independents, and 1920 Canton Bulldogs in this exclusive list.

The Lions have scored 52 points in two games and at least 40 points four times in ten games.
They’ve also won seven of their ten games by at least six points.
Of course, keeping their foot on the gas late in the game comes with risks, as the starters could get hurt playing in games that were settled in the first half.
But that’s Dan Campbell’s uber-aggressive mindset, and the players love every second of it.
The Lions look like the best team in the entire league this season.
While they won’t win many more games by 38 points or more, it seems like no defense in the league can slow them down.
