The Detroit Lions keep finding ways to win.
They know they’re not going to put up 50 points in every game, but they adapt and adjust to what the game asks for.
That was evident again on Sunday when they got their tenth win of the regular season.
They weathered the storm after the game was closer than expected early on.
Then, the Indianapolis Colts made some sound defensive adjustments late in the game, and while they weren’t as explosive on offense as they’ve been all season, the Lions still managed to put up 24 points on the road.
With that in mind, coach Dan Campbell gave his players their flowers and called them “road warriors” in his locker room speech (via Adam Schefter).

The Lions are a perfect 6-0 away from Ford Field this season.
They’ve beaten the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, and now the Colts.
Notably, they scored 47 points on the Cowboys, won both divisional contests, and even overcame a game in which Jared Goff threw five interceptions.
This speaks volumes about their strength, resiliency, and determination.
Even when their fans aren’t by their side, this team stays focused to get the job done.
They only have two more road games this season.
They’ll travel to face the Chicago Bears in Week 16 and the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17.
If they keep this up, they may not have to play away from home again until they make the Super Bowl.
