A man has been arrested after two other men were attacked during an aggravated burglary in Swords, Co Dublin in the early hours of the morning.
Two men, aged in their 30s, were assaulted when two men entered their rooms at the house in Forest Hills, and threatened them with knives.
The keys to their vehicles and property from their home were stolen.
“Gardaí immediately responded to the incident and a search of the area took place by gardaí attached to Swords, Coolock and Malahide,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“Gardaí arrested one (man) at the scene, aged in his 20s and he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in North Dublin.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
