Residents of Tarbert village in north Kerry were terrorised and felt under siege on Halloween night as youths in balaclavas roamed the streets setting off fireworks, damaging cars, and intimidating adults and children.
The nasty incident happened between 8pm and 9pm on Thursday when some smaller children were still going from door to door trick-or-treating.
