Earlier this week, Dubliner Georgia McGurk went to bed in her adopted country of America and woke up in a very different land.
McGurk, who has called New York home for the last two years, travelled to Washington DC to meet with her sister Alannah and her mum, the broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan, who was reporting for RTÉ on the US presidential election.
