Zac wasn’t supportive of the Chippendales show at all. Jen was unsure if the trip was worth it and feared her husband would disapprove of the idea of her being around the dancers. She was right. As Jen debated whether to stay or leave, she called Zac, but an argument ensued, and Zac questioned Jen’s morals. Zac told Jen that she had “no values or morals,” prompting her to leave earlier than the rest of the group members. Despite Jen leaving before the show started, Zac sent her a nasty text about attending the show.

While Jen only mentioned the text to the producers, one TikTok account, C’est Le Vienna, decoded the message. In it, Zac said, in part, that he didn’t care what her heart wanted and expected Jen to take “accountability for her actions.” While Zac was mad that Jen had attended the Chippendales show, Zac had been out gambling, which is also immoral based on the Mormon laws. Therefore, there was an overreaction on his end, and things shouldn’t have spiraled out of control had he handled the situation better.

Jen and Zac are still together. In an exclusive interview with US Magazine, Jen thanked The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show for giving them a platform to work on their marriage. Jen said that she was proud of how far they’d come and also noted that they had been on nonstop therapy that helped the pair deal with their marital issues. Zac presented himself as controlling to the point that Jess called him “narcissistic” after she’d seen the texts Zac sent to Jen during the Chippendales incident.

Jen also acknowledged that Zac was in the wrong and that there were a couple of “narcissistic traits” that came out “every few months.” It appears Zac and Jen have put the past behind them and even relocated – but not to New York. Jen revealed on the Weekly Trash podcast that Zac would be going to school in Arizona to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. When sharing news about their move, Jen posted a video on her Instagram account and captioned it:

“Leaving behind so many memories in this home. It’s bittersweet, but we’re ready for the next chapter. Can you guess where we moved?”

Although The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars navigated through their issues in season 1, the two still have a lot of work to do to keep their relationship alive. On social media, Zac and Jen appeared to be a perfect couple, with Zac seemingly looking like a supportive husband. It was shocking to see how he acted in the series, with his controlling behavior on full display. Chances are, Zac will not allow Jen to appear in another season of The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives and wouldn’t be cool with her hanging out with the MomTok girl squad again.
