A man who was arrested after gold bullion worth an estimated €1.4m, €460,000 in cash and €210,000 of cocaine was seized in Dublin has been charged and will appear in court tomorrow.
The man, who is in his 50s, was arrested after gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) carried out searches of residential and business premises on Friday and Saturday.
