It’s been five years since the Gotham Rogue killed the fan-favorite Bat-Family member, making this confrontation a long time coming. However, before Batman and Robin can face Bane, they must first navigate the treacherous wilderness of Dinosaur Island and survive the prehistoric creatures that inhabit it—a task the Dark Knight is finding exceptionally difficult.
Dinosaur Island: The One Place Even Batman Can’t Fully Prepare For
After several run-ins with dinosaurs, Batman, Robin, and Maya “Nobody” Ducard, Damian’s long-time friend, come upon poachers loading up various dinosaurs for experimentation and profit. Maya tells them to hold off, and soon the reason becomes clear. Bane enters the scene, using non-lethal force to dispatch the trespassers on what he claims is his island. While Batman and Maya are engrossed in watching Bane’s unusual behavior, Robin seizes the moment. He sneaks off, mounts a dinosaur, and charges toward the Gotham Rogue with undetermined intent.
