The defendant appeared before Judge Sandra Murphy at Sligo District Court.
A 29-year-old man who was previously a trainee garda but resigned was later found in possession of official garda clothes, including shirts, tie pin, a stab vest and a fleece in his home, Sligo District Court heard.
Ryan McManus, Geldof Drive, Cranmore, Sligo was charged that on July 11, 2021, while not being a member of An Garda Síochána, he was in possession of articles of garda uniform, and was not able satisfactorily to account for possession of such articles at Geldof Drive.
