the famous product to avoid – Libero Quotidiano


Beware of this salami if you bought it in one of the supermarkets Lidl. The Ministry of Health has in fact reported on its website the recall by the manufacturer of two batches of Milano type salami to Salumeo brand of Lidl for the presence of Salmonella spp. The product in question, reports the site ilfattoalimentare.it, it is sold in pieces of 160 grams with the lot numbers L237(5154) and L238(5154) and the expiry date 04/12/2023 (EAN code 2036 1303).

In detail, the aforementioned salametto was produced for Lidl Italia Srl by the company Salumificio Colombo Luigi Srl, in the factory in via Roma 21, in Pescate, in the province of Lecco.

As a precaution, the company recommends not consuming the Milano-type salami with the lot numbers indicated and returning it to the point of sale where it was purchased, where it will be reimbursed.

Only yesterday 6 March the stop of the Ministry of Health for Friend Chips “Ortolana”. The recall concerns product lot 080587. Also in this case customers are advised to return it to the point of sale where it was purchased due to the high levels of acrylamide. The latter is a chemical that forms naturally in starchy food products when they are cooked at high temperatures and, according to EFSA, can potentially increase the chances of developing cancer.
