No final for Tiana. Saturday November 19, the 18-year-old apprentice singer, originally from Seine-et-Marne, was eliminated after the semi-final of the “Star Academy” 2022 on TF 1. A disappointment for the youngest in the competition, saddened to have to leave the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys (Seine-et-Marne), but also her comrades. Starting with the Parisian Léa, with whom she had created real bonds of friendship.
Sad to have been eliminated?
TIANA. I’m disappointed, obviously. There was only a week left before the final… But I am very happy with my journey.
Your progress has been one of the most important. Are you aware of this?
I entered the “Star Academy” without ever having taken a singing lesson or been on stage. Everything was a first time for me. And, today, I can arrive on set without feeling stressed. Even vocally, my progress is incredible.
You were born in 2004. The first “Star Academy” ended in 2008. Why did you sign up for this new version?
Until two months ago, I didn’t even know the show! My parents vaguely told me about it, but I had never seen a single image. And they are the ones who pushed me to register. It was an opportunity for me to learn a lot, to rub shoulders with professionals and to sing with stars. My duets with Kendji Girac at the castle and with Dadju on set are among my best memories.

Your time at the castle was marked by your strong friendship with Léa. She qualified, not you. How do you experience it?
Quite honestly, above all, I am happy for her. She is a girl who has little self-confidence, even though her progress is incredible. She started from nothing and reached a very high level. She deserves her place in the final.
Who do you think will win?
Everyone is capable of it. Obviously, I think of Léa. She must win. And not just because she’s my girlfriend!
What are you going to do now?
I turned my phone back on fifteen minutes ago, so I’ll have to deal with that already. (She laughs)… Afterwards, I think I’ll watch all the bonuses with my family to find out what they liked or didn’t like. A debrief but without Laure Balon (stage expression teacher), In fact ! And I will, obviously, follow the adventures of my friends at the castle.
Are you going to continue making music?
I really want to. I won’t let go. Despite the elimination, another story begins. I will work hard to make my dream come true.
With Léa perhaps?
But it’s sure! That’s all we talked about at the castle! As soon as we were a duo, we were told that our voices worked well together. It gave us ideas and we really wanted to do a duet together. And in the meantime, we have already planned for Léa to come and eat at home, with my family.
