A trucking boss arrested as part of a seizure of €7m worth of cocaine and €300,000 in cash is suspected of playing a key role in the importation of millions of euro of heroin and cocaine to Ireland.
The suspect remained in custody at a garda station in Co Wexford last night and is understood to be the focus of a long-running investigation into international drug trafficking by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
