
ROME (ITALPRESS) – From child prodigy to musician in the most important theaters in Europe, establishing herself with commitment and talent as an undisputed artist on the international scene. She is Vanessa Benelli Mosell, 36 years old from Prato, pianist and conductor by profession. A passion for music that led her at the age of just four to perform in a concert with a sonata by Clementi and at nine to make her debut as a soloist. In 2007 she entered the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, before continuing her master studies at the Royal College of Music in London, from which she graduated in 2012.
“Music represents my everything – explains Benelli Mosell to Italpress -, my life, my past, my present and I hope my future. It represents oxygen to me. I am a pianist, conductor, I studied composition, violin, I sang in a choir, I have traveled different paths in music that have led me to be who I am”.
In his curriculum stand out concerts as a pianist in Milan, Berlin, London, Madrid. As conductor she led the orchestra on the largest German stages. Italy and Europe, music and travel: an increasingly close bond. “The correlation between music and travel – highlights the pianist – is very close, in the sense that we musicians travel a lot. The fact of travelling, therefore of moving around, gives us the opportunity to get to know new environments and situations that are different from ours, speak different languages ​​and get to know new cultures and new traditions”.
A life between notes and instruments, but also strong is the commitment to the anti-violence project Mots et Maux de Femmes, supported by the French president, Emmanuel Macron.
“A piece of advice for young women – says Benelli Mosell – is to always give the best of yourself and give it your all because we women have infinite energy, creative energy. We are much more powerful than we think.”
