Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ House Isn’t Selling Because of the ‘Ick Factor’

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is attempting to sell his California home. Here’s why buyers haven’t been interested.

In March 2024, Homeland Security raided Sean “Diddy” Combs’ house in Beverly Hills. They also conducted a raid on his Miami mansion. Diddy put his California home on the market this summer, a move which some said was intended to cover his hefty legal fees. The house has been on the market for several months, but no one has moved to purchase it. Sources say the “ick factor” associated with the home is too great.

According to real estate sources in California, “only a few” potential buyers have considered purchasing Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion (via TMZ). The 17,000 square foot home has 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, in addition to a separate guest house and spa house.

Diddy hosted his notorious parties and “freak offs” at this home. Now that information about them has become public, potential buyers are turning away because of the home’s “ick factor.” A married couple reportedly toured the home, but likely will not purchase the property because the wife was “creeped out.”

Buyers have also reportedly called out the “ridiculous” asking price of the home. Diddy bought the mansion for $40 million in 2014. He is now selling it for $61.5 million. Potential buyers reportedly do not feel the home is worth it.

Though some sources report that Diddy is selling his LA home because he wants to have Miami as his home base, others say he needs the money. After the raids on his homes and his September arrest, Diddy’s legal fees continue to mount. He reportedly is selling the Beverly Hills home to pay for his defense.

“Defending him against these serious charges is a huge undertaking, and it’s gotten very expensive,” a source told InTouch Weekly. “He will hate to part with [the house], but he has no other choice.”

Diddy currently remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Neighbors called police to the home multiple times

The continually emerging stories about the goings-on at Diddy’s home in Beverly Hills have pushed away potential buyers. Diddy allegedly held “freak offs” at the home, or drug-fueled sex parties that sometimes lasted days. Per the BBC, neighbors called the police 14 times in seven years.

“For six or seven years it was just parties, parties, parties,” one neighbor said. She added that she saw women “coming out and sitting down on the street, they didn’t know where they were.”

She noted that these women appeared “lost” and “their underwear was showing.”
