It is hard to win any given game in the NFL, and that degree of difficulty increases greatly when facing a team that has won a Super Bowl championship.
This season, it has seemed nearly impossible to defeat the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, who are 9-0 and keep finding new and innovative ways to win.
On Fox Sports Radio, Jason Smith said it takes a perfect game to achieve victory against Patrick Mahomes and crew.
“Chiefs are fantastic, and it takes a perfect game for you to beat them, especially if you have to play them at Arrowhead,” Smith said.

By the numbers, the Chiefs don’t seem like a team that should be anywhere near 9-0, and seven of their wins have come by seven points or fewer.
But a win is a win, and they keep making the type of clutch plays that a team needs to make in order to win close games.
On Sunday, it looked like they were on their way to their first loss of 2024 when Will Lutz of the Denver Broncos got ready to attempt a 35-yard field goal with one second left in the fourth quarter.
But Kansas City blocked that field goal and recovered the football to preserve a 16-14 win.
Mahomes always seems to make plays to move the chains on third and fourth downs, and they have become an excellent defensive team dating back to last year.
All the Chiefs do is win, and they have an excellent chance of walking away with their third straight Vince Lombardi Trophy this winter.
