During a recent interview, Bhushan noted, “I can’t make a film about my father if my mom isn’t convinced about it.” He explained that the initial script has to be revised because his mother isn’t convinced with certain instances. However, Aamir Khan had previously called the script one of the best he read in recent times.

Bhushan quipped, “Obviously, I cannot make a film on my father if my mother is not convinced about it. Once she is convinced, which she will eventually do, the world will get to witness a very inspiring story. For now, we are reworking the script.”
While there are delays in the project, the producer did not completely dismiss it. On the professional front, Aamir Khan is scheduled to appear in Sitaare Zameen Par next.
