The 2024 NFL regular season has not gone as planned for the New York Jets, as the team has failed to live up to expectations with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, even with the move to fire head coach Robert Saleh and trade for veteran wide receiver Davante Adams.
The Jets are heading into Week 11 with an ugly record of 3-7, and the team’s chances of clinching a spot in the NFL playoffs looking bleak, to say the least, as the team can’t seem to get on track and become the team many believed they’d be with Rodgers under center.
With the team struggling and the frustration building in New York, star cornerback Sauce Gardner has started to lash out on social media, which is something that he is regretting.
Gardner spoke to the media this week about his recent actions on social media and admitted that he was out of line and needed to control his emotions via Jets Videos.
“Me being a leader of the team, of the defense, I can’t be on social media with my emotions, saying certain stuff. I know better,” Gardner said.

With the Jets being the center of attention in New York for all the wrong reasons, the negative attention has been relentless, from upset fans to relentless members of the media who seem to bash the team on a daily basis for their shortcomings and dysfunction.
Only time will tell whether the Jets can turn things around this season and make a late push for a playoff spot, but as of right now, it looks like they’ll limp to the finish line with an uncertain future ahead in New York.
