The Chicago Bears are riding the struggle bus right now as they have lost three games in a row and are now at a mark of 4-5.
Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has struggled to adjust to life in the NFL and his offensive coordinator, Shane Waldron, was just relieved of his duties.
Insider Albert Breer joined The Rich Eisen Show Thursday to break down why Williams has struggled so much.
“Maybe (Caleb Williams) wasn’t as ready for the NFL as you would’ve hoped…Maybe the issue is kind of not having a coach on staff who had a lot of experience working with a quarterback this young,” Breer said.
Why has Caleb Williams struggled as much as he has this season? Did #DaBears let him down or is it something he’s doing?#NFL #GBvsCHI pic.twitter.com/iWs3scM8fk

The Chicago Bears do not have a great history of working with quarterbacks at all.
That is a whole other story.
Right now, Chicago is not equipped in terms of the coaching staff or the front office to help create a superstar quarterback.
Take the Green Bay Packers for example.
They have gone from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers to now Jordan Love.
Additionally, they have had just two general managers and two head coaches in almost 20 years.
There is plenty of consistency in both the front office and on the field, especially when it comes to the quarterback position.
The Bears have been through a number of general managers, head coaches, and quarterbacks over the last two decades.
There is no stability in the building and because of that, there is a chance that Williams could be the last one standing between him and Eberflus with Waldron already getting a head start on looking for a new job.
