Entering the NBA isn’t always easy for every rookie and many struggle to find their rhythm and shot during the first season.
Evan Sidery is reporting that No. 2 overall pick Alex Sarr of the Washington Wizards is shooting just 34.3 percent from the field so far this season, including 16.7 percent from the three-point line with 4.8 attempts per game.
After 10 games, Sarr is clearly having some trouble but it’s not too late for him to turn it around.

There were many comments about Sarr and the rest of the 2024 class when the draft occurred in the summer.
The 19-year-old French star was seen as a wing player who could tighten up the Wizards’ offense.
So far, he hasn’t delivered on that.
Once again, the Wizards are struggling with a 2-8 record.
That isn’t very surprising because most people thought they’d be in rough shape again in 2024-25.
But many loyal Wizards followers thought Sarr would perform better.
The good news here is that Sarr has a lot more time to improve his record.
Additionally, because the Wizards don’t have much of a chance to reach the playoffs, they can give him as much time as he needs to get better.
The team might not get to the postseason but the lack of pressure to do so will allow plenty of opportunities for Sarr.
Figuring out how to play in the NBA is tough and there is usually some sort of adjustment period for rookies.
Sarr is going through his right now but Wizards fans are wondering how long it’ll last.
