The 2024 GQ Men of the Year Party gathered the biggest names in music, film, and fashion for a stylish night celebrating the magazine’s annual Men of the Year issue. This year, GQ recognized the achievements and cultural influence of musician Pharrell Williams, comedian John Mulaney, and actor Dwayne Johnson.
Held at chic Hollywood venue Bar Marmont, the Men of the Year Party drew stars like Offset, Anderson .Paak, and Shaboozey, each sporting unique, eye-catching looks that embodied the party theme: American Rodeo. The event emphasized the magazine’s dedication to celebrating men who are redefining style, success, and influence in today’s world. See the boldest and sexiest looks here:
Two of Denzel Washington’s four children, Malcolm and John David Washington, attended the party. John David, 40, went more formal while Malcolm, 33, donned a brown wool jacket with turquoise buttons.
Anderson .Paak went full country in a tan suede suit, turquoise and silver bolo tie, and snakeskin cowboy boots.
Babyface, 64, brought his partner and general manager of Babyface Entertainment, model Rika Tischendorf, to GQ’s party.
Diplo certainly understood the assignment. The DJ donned a corduroy jumpsuit with a fur cape, cowboy boots, and an oversized Western-style belt.
Showing off his guns in a black leather vest, Man of the Year Dwayne Johnson treated guests to a variety show and Q&A chat.
Another GQ Man of the Year, John Mulaney walked the red carpet sans wife Olivia Munn. The comedian also participated in a chat during the party.
Multi-instrumentalist Jon Batiste wore a simple blue coat and white silk pants for a funky take on the Western theme.
Katt Williams looked like he walked right out of a spaghetti Western. The comedian and actor wore a gray three-piece suit with a maroon ascot and blinged-out chains.
GQ’s third Man of the Year, Pharrell Williams was recognized as designer of the year. The men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton wore a fringed black leather jacket and distressed denim.
Track and field sprinter Noah Lyles brought his girlfriend, Olympic track and field medalist Junelle Bromfield, to the soiree. He wore a tan double-breasted jacquard wool jacket and pants by Louis Vuitton. A black necktie and turquoise buttons added a Western touch.
Offset went more emo-goth than Western. The rapper wore a coat and pants covered in chains and grommets with a matching oversized leather bag.
Shaboozey wore a checkered Bode blazer, Coût De La Liberté denim, and a Man of the Year sash. The “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” singer performed several of his hits to the 300-person crowd. He told Vogue regarding his outfit, “I feel amazing. I’m from Virginia. I love Wranglers, I love a Stetson hat and belt buckles. We are always trying to elevate, but keep it true to western. It’s about being experimental.”
The Righteous Gemstones star Walton Goggins chose a sexy, simple ensemble with a black tuxedo jacket and sheer button-up shirt.
