Kanye West Invites Global Wrath, Allegedly Wore a Swastika and Trolled Yeezy Employee’s Filipino Ancestry

Kanye West and controversies have been in a mutually unhealthy co-dependent relationship for a very long time. It began with a seemingly harmless ruckus on stage at the MTV VMAs in 2009 when he dissed Taylor Swift for winning against Beyoncé, an act that was seen as justifiable by some and disrespectful by most.

Soon after, the loud-mouthed rapper began to collect scandals like Pokémons in Pokémon Go. From calling the President a racist to idolizing Hitler to his Yeezus era with “I am a god” to his declarations about slavery being a choice, Ye has had his fair share of encounters with Cancel Culture.

However, among all the hullabaloo, one allegedly unlawful termination nail of a former Yeezy employee might just be the final nail in the coffin for the polarizing musical genius.

A former Yeezy employee, Murphy Aficionado, who used to work directly under Kanye West (or legally, Ye) has filed a lawsuit against the Donda singer and record producer. In it, he alleged that his job was unlawfully terminated and that he was forced to witness numerous uncomfortable sexual encounters after being “commanded” by his boss, Kanye West.

In Aficionado’s extensively detailed lawsuit against West and his record companies, private information about Ye’s everyday life emerged which, if proven true in court, could spell the end of his career in the industry. The lawsuit alleged that the rapper repeatedly made offensive anti-Semitic remarks about the Jewish community and targeted Aficionado for his Filipino heritage.

Aficionado claimed that West “began to make his proud bigotry and antisemitism well-known [and] preached this dogma almost daily.” Speaking of one such incident in his lawsuit, the plaintiff alleged:

[Kanye West] would frequently make disparaging remarks about Jewish people: ‘The Jews are out to get me. They froze my bank account. The Jews got Kim [Kardashian] and my kids’… ‘The Jews convinced Kim [Kardashian]. She has Jewish masters.’

The anti-Semitic remarks he made in association with ex-wife Kim Kardashian occupied a large portion of the lawsuit which further goes into details about West putting his employees in an uncomfortable position by wearing a shirt with a swastika printed on it.

Murphy Aficionado recalls a November 2022 incident in his lawsuit where he was apparently “summoned” to Kanye West’s hotel room where the rapper exposed his then-employee to an uncomfortable situation. According to Aficionado, West was engaged in sexual activity with then-girlfriend Bianca Censori (now married) with Aficionado still in the room.

Minutes later, West returned wearing a t-shirt with the prominent symbol of the swastika printed on it, widely recognized for its association with the Nazi ideology. According to the lawsuit, West squared off against Aficionado by asking him:

‘Don’t you like my shirt?’ Intimidated and concerned for his job, Aficionado claims he replied, ‘It is definitely unique …’ Then randomly and without solicitation, Ye sat down with Aficionado, showing him nude photos of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian on his phone.

West allegedly targeted Murphy Aficionado personally as well by mocking his Filipino ancestry. The latter stated in his lawsuit against the rapper that he was asked to remove his traditional tattoos (known as Batok), calling them “ugly”.

Meanwhile, Kanye West is already involved in two other active lawsuits – one by a former bodyguard for racial discrimination and the other by his ex-assistant for sexual harassment. The rapper is set to appear in court on account of the former on February 11, 2025.
