The Indianapolis Colts are 4-6 and face a pivotal contest against the 3-7 New York Jets on Sunday.
Despite the fact that Indy has lost three straight, the team is second in the AFC South and a win tomorrow would keep pace with the Houston Texans.
In preparation for the Jets, the organization announced several roster moves on Saturday.
According to the Colts (on X), the franchise moved linebacker Liam Anderson from the practice squad to the active roster and cut defensive tackle Adam Gotsis.
We have signed LB Liam Anderson to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and waived DT Adam Gotsis.
We have also elevated G Atonio Mafi and G Josh Sills to the active roster from the practice squad for #INDvsNYJ.

Two other players on the practice squad, guards Atonio Mafi and Josh Sills have also been moved to the active roster.
Anderson played college ball at Holy Cross where he had 14.5 sacks and six interceptions during his career.
The 6’3″, 225-pounder went undrafted in 2024 and has spent the first part of the year on the Colts’ practice squad.
Gotsis, a former 2016 second-round pick of the Denver Broncos, had just signed with Indy this past off-season.
Mafi was a 2023 5th-round pick of the New England Patriots out of UCLA.
He was waived by the Pats in August before signing with the Colts.
Sills went undrafted in 2022 after playing collegiately at West Virginia and Oklahoma State.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed him and then cut him in August of 2023 before being acquired by Indy days later.
After facing New York, the Colts meet Detroit then have winnable games the remainder of the year against the Patriots, Broncos, Titans, Giants and Jacksonville.
Even five wins in those remaining contests could keep Indy in the thick of the playoff hunt.
