The Golden State Warriors secured another impressive win on Friday night, beating the Memphis Grizzlies 123-118.

But even though his team won, head coach Steve Kerr was not satisfied with the victory.

Following the game, Kerr criticized the final quarter and said it was “kind of disgusting.”

According to 95.7 The Game, Kerr said:

“It was just kind of disgusting, that last quarter and a half. I felt bad for our fans having to watch just what transpired… I’m thrilled with the win. Love the way our guys competed. Just too bad the game had to devolve into a parade to the free throw line.”

Kerr is referring to the fact that the game slowed down considerably as it came to an and.

There were multiple whistles from the refs and plenty of trips to the free throw line with foul after foul bringing the game to a crawl across the finish line.

The two teams combined for 58 free throw attempts and 49 fouls.

As ugly as it was, a win is a win and now the Warriors are 2-0 in the NBC Cup and 10-2 overall for the season.

Kerr’s Warriors team is one of the biggest surprises of the year.

Many people had written them off in the summer and thought they’d be middling at best.

But, once again, the Warriors are reminding people to never doubt them or count them out completely.

They have the talent, they have the coaching skills, and they have the ability to go far.

Kerr may not have liked how slow and clunky Friday night’s game became but he was very satisfied with the final results.
