The Minnesota Vikings have had their fair share of great wide receivers in franchise history.
Of course, most people rave about Cris Carter and Randy Moss, and rightfully so.
However, there’s a legitimate chance that Justin Jefferson will leave both of them in the dust once it’s all said and done.
As reported by Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team on X, the LSU standout currently has 6,730 receiving yards in his career.
That means he’s just 55 yards away from taking down the legendary Torry Holt (6,784) for the most receiving yards by a player in their first five NFL seasons.

Jefferson averages 92 yards per game, so even though Sam Darnold is struggling and the Tennessee Titans have a strong defense, he could still easily top that mark on Sunday.
To make things even more impressive, we’re talking about a player who missed almost half of a season last year because of an injury.
That speaks volumes about how dominant he’s been since entering the league, and that’s despite not having a star quarterback by his side at any point.
Jefferson made history in the offseason by becoming the highest-paid non-quarterback the league had ever seen.
And while Ja’Marr Chase is determined and eager to take that record away from him, even by a single penny, Jefferson has established himself as the undisputed No. 1 wide receiver in the game.
It would take a lot for Chase – or anybody else – to take that distinction away from him.
