Arsenal have been handed a big injury scare after Leandro Trossard was forced off while playing for Belgium on Sunday night.
The Gunners went into the international break with concerns over Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, before fellow Englishman Ben White went under the knife to solve a minor ongoing issue and may not be seen again in 2024.
Mikel Arteta is also still without Riccardo Calafiori, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney have been long-term absentees and yet to feature this season.
And now, in the final game of the international break for Belgium, the Gunners have been hit with another possible fitness issue with Trossard being forced off.
Trossard was named in the starting lineup against Israel but lasted just 37 minutes before being replaced by Johan Bakayoko.
It was immediately unclear why Trossard was withdrawn, but he was moving awkwardly and reluctant to join Belgium attacks before his substitution.
Belgium head coach Domenico Tedesco is expected to address the issue after the game.
