The Milwaukee Bucks have two of the best stars in the NBA but the team is still a huge mess.
They are currently 4-9 and the 12th team in the Eastern Conference even with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.
What is the cause of their problems?
Speaking on his show, Gilbert Arenas said the Bucks’ largest issue is being over-coached.
He said it’s possible that the team is being ruined by the coach’s insistence to “overthink” and “micromanage.”
Arenas said:
“You’re trying to control every element of the game when most of the game is a gray area,”
Dame Lillard and Giannis being over-coached is why the Bucks are failing 💯 pic.twitter.com/j53EvQSJTL

Arenas believes the Bucks should have many more wins at this point, based on the power of Antetokounmpo and Lillard alone.
These two players should be able to muster up victories but the duo is falling short.
Individually, they are two powerful players who have led their respective teams in the past.
But together, they aren’t leading the Bucks to the sort of success fans expected.
Is head coach Doc Rivers the problem here?
Arenas said Rivers is overcoaching the team and overthinking everything, which could be the cause of all their losses.
Even though Rivers has been in charge less than a year, there are already calls for his firing.
And if the Bucks don’t turn things around and have a strong remainder of the season, there is a very good chance he could be let go in the summer, or even before that.
Milwaukee has two terrific stars leading the way and they aren’t winning, so the blame may fall at Rivers’ feet.
What does that mean for his future as head coach?
