Liverpool’s latest rumors link them to AC Milan forward Christian Pulisic as a potential future addition to bolster their attack. It’s also reported Liverpool has taken decisive steps to reinforce their defense by agreeing to a £20.8 million deal for Sevilla left-back Loic Bade.

According to the Spanish outlet TDF, Liverpool’s deal for Bade was confirmed on Sunday night, though the transfer has not yet been officially finalized. The report indicates that the agreement is expected to go through without issue, barring any unforeseen complications during the process.

Sevilla initially aimed for €30 million for the full-back, but Liverpool’s negotiations brought the price down to a more favorable figure, satisfying both parties. Bade, who has been on the radar of several top European clubs, including Aston Villa, is considered one of the most promising young defenders in the market.

Liverpool’s acquisition continues its strategic focus on securing young talent that aligns with their long-term ambitions. The signing also comes at a time when questions continue to surround the future of veteran center-back Virgil van Dijk, who remains a cornerstone of Liverpool’s defensive setup.

After spending his first four professional seasons in France, Bade joined Nottingham Forest but did not make a league appearance. A move to Sevilla in 2022 allowed him to showcase his skills, earning him attention from elite teams across Europe.

The reported signing of Bade marks another step in Liverpool’s strategy to remain competitive and young in the defense. 25-year-old Ibrahima Konate will remain at the club until 2026, and defensive midfielder Ryan Gravenberch will remain locked in until 2028.

On the offensive side, Liverpool remain in limbo with Mohamed Salah’s future. Pulisic has netted seven goals and five assists for Milan this season, highlighting his significant contribution to the team’s attack.

The American international captain has prior experience in the Premier League with Chelsea, where he scored 20 goals in 98 league appearances. Pulisic hit the milestone of five straight games with a goal, including games for Milan and Team USA, when he scored in the Serie A side’s 3-0 win against Lecce.

Reports indicate that the Reds could pay close to €60 million to acquire the forward’s services after Milan purchased him from Chelsea for €20.80m. ESPN soccer pundit Herculez Gomez said he prefers the American stay at a club where fans and coaches value him.

“I wouldn’t jeopardize that for a move to the Premier League,” said Gomez. “I understand Liverpool is a big club. But by no strech of the imaginaation would I say its a much bigger club than AC Milan. I like the fact that he [Pulisic] found a place that he’s thriving. He feels comfortable in the setup, and he’s the man there. They think of him as an important piece to that puzzle so I don’t want him going anywhere.”
