Pep Guardiola has agreed to sign a new contract with Manchester City, according to reports.
The City manager – whose existing deal is due to expire at the end of this season – is said to be about to sign a one-year extension with the option of an additional year.
It has been suggested by The Athletic that an announcement could come in the days ahead.
The news would be a huge boost to City and a blow to their rivals given the stranglehold the Catalan has wielded over the Premier League since arriving in Manchester in 2016.
