Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are both set to be suspended from fighting following their record-breaking boxing bout – but they have both hinted at their next fights.
The fight that was streamed on Netflix drew 108m viewers worldwide making it the “most streamed global sporting event ever.” However, if Paul and Tyson want to take part in other fights, they will have to wait as they will both be serving temporary bans.
Paul managed to beat ‘Iron Mike’ on points this past weekend. Many fans were left disappointed with the clash as it was deemed to be too one sided with Tyson battling professionally for the first time in almost two decades.

As it was sanctioned as a professional event, both fighters will be ordered to rest by the overseeing body of the fight, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The regulations demand that each fighter rests for three days per every round fought. As Paul and Tyson went eight rounds, they will rest for 24 days.
This won’t be a concern to either fighter as neither Paul nor Tyson will be looking to fight anyone else within the three week suspension. Both will surely be enjoying their pay package which was a reported $40m for the Youtuber-turned-boxer.
Some boxing fans have raised the question whether Tyson will ever fight again. He said after the fight: “I don’t know.
“It depends on the situation… I knew [Paul] was a good fighter. I didn’t prove nothing to anyone, just myself.
“I’m not one of these guys who goes out to please the world. I’m just happy with what I can do.”
When asked who his future opponent could be, he pointed out Logan Paul, Jake’s brother. The WWE star simply responded with: “I would kill you, Mike.”
The older Paul brother has had experience against one of the boxing greats. He fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition match three years ago.
No official winner was declared due to it not being a professional fight. When Jake appeared on his brother’s podcast “Impaulsive,” the 27-year-old said that he wants to fight anyone, including his own brother.
They both continued to go back and forth sewing seeds for a potential future bout. Although it is unlikely to happen, fans wouldn’t completely put it past the fighting brothers.
