For most of his career, LeBron James has earned a reputation as one of the best leaders in the NBA.
He has taken a different approach to leadership than, say, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant.
And while it hasn’t worked out as well as it did for the aforementioned legends, it’s safe to say that he’s also found some success.
When asked about that, Patrick Beverley shared an interesting story.
Talking on Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take,” he recalled when LeBron James gave him a look after he missed a free throw.

He had missed just a couple of free throws in the entire season, but watching James give him that look made him realize that a particular standard needed to be met.
Beverley later took that same approach with him in the next stops of his career.
James has also been known for being passive-aggressive and reportedly getting his teammates traded multiple times.
Then again, just watching the relentless way he takes care of his body and prepares for every game should be enough to keep everybody involved and locked in.
Few people can achieve what James has accomplished, even with the same time or resources dedicated to their bodies.
