Lady luck isn’t always present when it comes to relationships in the entertainment industry, and yet Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann turned out to be among the lucky ones. Not only did the TV personalities find their way to each other, but are even currently busy spending the young years of their lives together, happily in love.
Gibelli, for one, had her fair share of failed relationships before meeting her current partner. She appeared on season 1 of Love Is Blind, which went so far as her getting engaged to her co-star Damian Powers. However, while the pair split on their wedding day only to reconnect when the cameras stopped rolling, they called it quits for good in 2021 after Powers was reportedly accused of cheating on Gibelli with Francesca Farago (which he denied).
Horstmann, on the other hand, competed for Becca Kufrin’s love when he debuted on The Bachelor franchise through season 14 of The Bachelorette, resulting in him coming in second place. Soon after, he appeared on the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise, though his pre-show hookups with Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman revealed on the beach landed him under serious fire among fans and viewers.
However, then lady luck appeared, and both the television personalities’ lives were graced. Since meeting each other, the pair reportedly haven’t had to look further, and now seem to be all set and sure about spending the rest of their lives together. Giannina Gibelli reportedly met Blake Horstmann for the first time when the pair collaborated to work on season 1 of the reality TV show All Star Shore, which was set in Paramount+ and followed several reality personalities competing for a cash prize.
By January 2022, the situation escalated as netizens noticed the pair posting photos from the same location after they seemingly appeared to ring in the new year together. Per an insider source confirming to US Weekly, the pair were reportedly already dating by then.
In March, the pair reportedly jetted off to Rome to ostensibly celebrate Gibelli’s 29th birthday. This was followed by the Love Is Blind star sharing an image of her and Hostmann together on her Instagram stories, which featured his arm linked around her neck while she blocked his face with her phone.
Soon after, in June of the same year, Gibelli finally came publicly clean about her romance with the Bachelor in Paradise star for the first time. She told E! News (via US Weekly): “I’ve never watched the Bachelor franchise or any of that so I didn’t know who he was. He seemed familiar to me and he just flashed his big ole smile at me and that’s how I met him right on the beach.”
Continuing, she further gushed about Horstmann to the media outlet, claiming:
He’s very respectful, but I don’t think that they know just how funny and spontaneous and dedicated he is. He’s doing his DJ gig now and just watching him reach all these new heights and all these goals, I don’t think a lot of people know that he has it in him, but he definitely does.
Then in July, The Bachelorette actor appeared on the How Men Think podcast to reveal about him and Gibelli: “We did find a pretty amazing relationship while filming All Star Shore [but] honestly I did not expect to find love on the show. Fortunately, I did meet Giannina pretty quickly, and right away we kind of hit it off, and I’m so glad we did … I’m incredibly happy right now.”
These emotions of feeling fantastic after coming across his now-partner were further echoed by Gibelli, who told E! News ‘This is it for me’ while talking about her relationship with Hortsmann. She added, “It’s just these sweet little things that he wants to make sure that I’m happy and I’m in a good place.”
By November of the same year, Blake Horstmann was seemingly so sure about his feelings for Giannina Gibelli that he asked her to move in with him in his Colorado home by spelling out “Will You Move In With Me?” in the snow (via Instagram).

Nearly two years after meeting and falling in love, Giannina Gibelli revealed via a joint Instagram post with her partner in November 2023 that she was pregnant with her and Horstmann’s first baby. Sharing a photoshoot of the pair together, she captioned the post:

we’re so grateful that life has led us here and over the moon to be parents to our sweet baby come spring 2024!
Then when the season 6 Love Is Blind reunion came around in March 2024, the couple confessed they were expecting a baby boy, with Gibelli gushing, “I hope he looks just like [Blake]. … We’re waiting until he pops out and I don’t know if he’s going to be a little, like, fair-skin-and-blue-eyed like him or a little spicier like me. I just want to see what he looks like [before deciding].”
The 29th of that same month saw Gibelli giving birth to their son Heath Orion, and to the female reality TV star’s delight, her wishes of having her baby look like her father came true. Speaking to US Weekly about it, Gibelli said, “Our baby is his father’s twin! There are so many similarities it’s adorable to see them light up in each other. As far as personality goes, he’s an Aries like his mama so we’ll see, he just might be the perfect mix of both of us.”
She further revealed that the pair were taking things “day by day” now that they had a new addition to their family, saying, “So far we love doing everything together, the only time we see us ‘dividing’ our time is when he’s off to work, but we have our village that’s with us 24/7 so it’s been a beautiful thing to be able to focus just on our baby and our time as a family together.”

In June 2024, Blake Horstmann appeared on the Almost Famous podcast to reveal that the pair were in no rush to say their I dos and tie the knot together once and for all. Rather, for the time being, they are more focused on being loving parents to baby Heath. He said back then,
It was like, ‘Let’s not put another thing on our [to-do list]. Let’s just do that on our time. We’re gonna do this on our time because we felt like we want to make Heath a priority.
But their opinions seem to have changed with time. This comes after the Bachelor in Paradise star, 35, recently got down on one knee during their time together in Madrid, Spain, to ask Gibelli, 31, to spend the rest of her life walking side by side with him as her husband. And Gibelli was so thrilled that “she actually said ‘yes’ before I could open the box to show her the ring.“
The revelation came through a joint Instagram post, as the couple shared pictures of the proposal with the caption, “So I can kiss you anytime I want 💍” Per PEOPLE, the question came with a 4.87-carat oval lab-grown diamond ring by Brilliant Earth, also featuring an 18-karat yellow gold “Luxe Versailles” shank detailed with small diamonds.
