The Houston Texans appear to be headed to the NFL playoffs for a second straight season with talented young quarterback C.J. Stroud leading the way.
The team is sporting a record of 7-4 and will more than likely run away with the AFC South title.
Although the offense gets a lot of the credit for the Texans’ success, with Stroud proving not to be a fluke from his rookie season and veteran running back Joe Mixon showing he might’ve been the missing piece to the puzzle, Houston also has some game-wreckers on the defensive side of the ball.
Stroud recently compared one Texans player — veteran defensive end Danielle Hunter — to NBA superstar LeBron James in terms of physical dominance.
“I see why LeBron gets so many calls because you have to do something to slow his dominance down,” Stroud said, via Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. “Same with Danielle, you have to try to do something to slow him down, so he gets held. Not saying he’s LeBron, but he’s close.”

That’s a bold comparison by Stroud, considering James is arguably the greatest NBA player of all time and in the running for being one of the greatest athletes ever regardless of sport.
However, the Texans QB was not shy about giving his teammate the ultimate compliment, which probably scored some points with Hunter and the rest of the defense.
