The New England Patriots might have themselves a star in the making under center with rookie Drake Maye.
Maye has proven in many moments that he has the talent and knowledge to possibly be a successful quarterback in this league, even if the Pats are sitting at a record of 3-8 right now.
Per Savage Sports, Maye has the highest accuracy percentage of all NFL starters from Weeks 1-11 (91.9%).

New England chose the former No. 3 overall draft pick because he possesses the characteristics that plenty of teams certainly want in a franchise quarterback.
Yes, he stands tall at 6-4 and weighs 225 pounds.
But, he must show that he can produce with his size and skills.
Again, despite the team’s poor record, he has done that.
The former North Carolina Tar Heel is coming off his second career game with a passer rating over 100 (100.6) and his best game in total passing yards (282) against the Los Angeles Rams.
It was paramount for the Patriots to find an answer at quarterback this season.
They didn’t have to win the Super Bowl or make the playoffs.
They needed to ensure they were moving in the right direction at quarterback.
Although it hasn’t always been pretty, Maye is showing genuine signs of being the future for Jerod Mayo and Co.
After the way last season ended, that is all you can ask for as a fan up in New England.
