Simone Biles is showcasing her range post-Olympic gymnastics career even if that means wearing silver instead of gold.
We never thought we’d see Simone Biles settle for silver. But the 7-time Olympic gold medalist took home two silver looks at the 2024 CMA Awards. The 27-year-old also debuted a cute new hairstyle that’s a major departure from her formerly long, wavy locks.
Biles has been busy since the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The Ohio native completed the Gold Over America tour, which involved seven weeks of gymnastics performances. She also keeps busy with several sponsorships, including partnerships with Netflix, gymnastics apparel company GK Elite, Athleta, and Barefoot Wine. As if she could add more to her plate, Biles agreed to present at the 2024 CMA Awards.
The 11-time Olympic medalist walked the red carpet pre-show in a stunning metallic gown. Biles’ silver dress featured a knotted shoulder strap and an elegant off-the-shoulder sleeve. Likely the Nyra One-Shoulder Metallic Slim Maxi Dress by MISHA, the gown is available for $430 at Anthropologie. Biles’ accessories included a delicate silver hand chain and geometric earrings.
Biles debuted a chin-length voluminous bob after years of rocking long dark hair in loose waves. She complemented her new haircut with silver smoky eyeshadow, feathery lashes, and a peachy-nude lip gloss. Fans love her new look, commenting on Instagram, “New hair, who dis?!?” and “I didn’t think you could become even more beautiful than you already are. your new look is divine!!!!!!!!”
Biles did a quick wardrobe change during the CMA Award ceremony. She transitioned from her silver dress to a silver suit set before presenting the Female Vocalist of the Year award, which country singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson deservedly earned. Biles looked business chic in a glamorous sparkly jacket and wide-leg pants. She layered her $176 silver VICI suit over a black top. Biles wore the same pointed-toe black heels from the red carpet for an accessible and affordable look fans can replicate.
What’s next for the Olympic superstar? Biles is pivoting to television for The Voice. After rapper Snoop Dogg’s support at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Biles is returning the favor as Team Snoop’s Playoff Advisor. Although some fans of The Voice are confused due to the gymnast’s lack of singing abilities, others get it. One Instagram supporter posted in support of Biles, “This totally makes sense when you realize that these people can already SING and what they need is training on stage presence, confidence, and performance, which she’s an expert in.”
