Well, maybe it might not have been the best of times for Lohan when the singer-actress found herself in a little bit of a humiliating situation. The singer found herself crying on the ground after she got into a scuffle with a family in 2018 and all of it was recorded on Instagram live!
When Lindsay Lohan Tried to Help (And Failed!)
The video starts with Lohan spotting a Syrian family of four who were taking shelter in the streets. In the beginning of the video, Lindsay Lohan offered the family a hotel room for them to spend the night in.
Throughout the video, the singer used a combination of English and Arabic and it isn’t really clear whether the Syrian family understood her or not. Whatever the case may be, the end result was that the family rejected Lohan’s offer.
When the singer started insisting harder, the family got up and started walking away. That’s when things escalated really quickly. Lindsay Lohan started accusing the parents of human trafficking. That’s when the scuffle starts to happen. It cannot be judged who started it but we sure know what the end result was.
Lindsay Lohan could be seen sitting on the ground with tears in her eyes and dust surrounding her as the family walked away further and further from her. In the video, Lohan said, “I’m like in shock right now, I’m just like so scared”.
Although it was a bizarre thing to watch back in 2018, Lindsay Lohan has managed to keep herself in the spotlight. From her songs to her statements, Lohan has remained active on social media and more and now, her statements are making controversy around the world recently.
Lindsay Lohan Had Something To Say To Disney CEO!
On the professional side of things, the actress is all set for the release of her upcoming Netflix film titled Our Little Secret. Being a Christmas rom-com film, the expectations are high with this one.
At the premiere of Our Little Secret, Lindsay Lohan recalled 1998 when she fired back at the-then CEO of Disney, Michael Eisner. Although she was a child during that time, her sarcastic reply was quite on point.
During one of her talks (via Variety), the singer-actress recalled the premiere of The Parent Trap where former CEO of Disney, Michael Eisner came. Logan recalled that Eisner asked her jokingly where her twin sister was at.
The joke was that Lohan portrayed a double role in the 1998 film. However, as per the actress, here’s what she replied in kind:
I was so young, I don’t even know how I thought to say this, but I’ll never forget what I said. I said, ‘Well you should’ve paid me double, because I don’t have one.’
Fortunately for the actress, The Parent Trap was a success and she found worldwide fame and critical acclaim through her role in the movie. Alongside being an actress, Lohan also has some iconic discography to her name as well.
The actress is all set for the release of her upcoming Netflix film titled Our Little Secret. With Lindsay Lohan and Ian Harding in leading roles, the film is set for a release date of 27 November on Netflix in the U.S.
