To say that this has been a disappointing season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would be a huge understatement.
Todd Bowles’ team was projected to be among the best in the NFC South, and they got off to a strong start to the year, winning four of their first six games.
They’re even the only team that has beaten the Detroit Lions this season.
That’s why, even though they’re going through a big slump, former NFL player Logan Ryan still believes in them.
Talking on CBS Sports, he argued that they’re the best team in their division and will make the playoffs.
While the chances are slim, and there is little margin for error, he still thinks they can pull it off.
“I think Tampa is the best team in that division… and now with Mike Evans back, they have a chance.”

Ryan argued that their losses had everything to do with the injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
Evans is expected to return today to face the New York Giants, which should massively boost the passing game.
Ryan isn’t that far off.
Even without their best wide receivers, they still took the Kansas City Chiefs to overtime, put up 31 points against the Baltimore Ravens, and lost by one possession to the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers.
Their recent stretch has been brutal, but things will get easier with dates with the Giants, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints.
The turnaround must start today if they want to stand a chance.
