Lizzo’s Ozempic Accusers After Her Unrecognizable New Pic Need to Remember Her Dank Response to Allegations and Move On

Lizzo, the effervescent popstar who composed bops like it was nobody’s business, has been at the forefront of the socio-cultural sphere for quite some time now. The singer earned her stripes in the music industry, stood alongside Harry Styles on the global stage, and effectively challenged modern standards by starting a debate on body positivity.

However, today’s society happens to be less forgiving than what meets the eye. Despite supporting Lizzo and her war on fat-shamers and trolls on social media, a faction of fans have taken up arms against the singer for her new look amid accusations about her use of Ozempic.

Irrespective of what she has said in the past on the matter, there seems to be a divide in public opinion as some fans support her renewed outlook on body positivity while others attack her for choosing to shed weight allegedly via the help of the infamous weight-loss drug.

Lizzo has never shied away from the public’s wrath — justified or otherwise. The popstar’s image was a singular one, bolstered by the confidence she displayed in her own skin regardless of the accusations that the trolls and the haters hurled at her.

Despite repeatedly denying ever taking the Type-2 diabetes medication to aid in her weight loss, rumors have persisted about Lizzo’s preference for Ozempic. In the past, public figures like Oprah and Kelly Clarkson who openly spoke about Ozempic’s “health benefits” came under scrutiny for advocating and promoting the weight-loss drug on their platforms.

Now, a new image posted by the Juice singer has put all the past allegations to rest. Online trolls have now turned into ruthless critics, publicly shaming her for using Ozempic to rapidly shed weight and assume a more socially-acceptable image in terms of her physique.

Mostly, however, fans have been supportive of the popstar for molding herself to a healthier lifestyle and enduring the public scrutiny even under the constant barrage of allegations and accusation from fans and critics alike.

Lizzo Hits Back at Her Online Critics

In recent years, Lizzo took on a more offensive approach toward her critics rather than simply defending her stance on body weight issues. In October 2024, she infamously dressed up as an Ozempic pill during Halloween’s spooky season, clearly clapping back at the trolls for their relentless attack.

However, her brave front has failed to sustain the wrath of critics who have made it their business to knock down the singer from her pedestal and expose her for using Ozempic. Lizzo’s claims about being body positive will fail to hold up in the court of public opinion is the rumors were ever proven to be true.

Tweets such as these (as shown below) have persisted on X/Twitter after Lizzo posted her new image on social media.

Meanwhile, others have been supportive of the singer’s choice in promoting body positivity with a different approach as compared to her early years. Only time will tell if fans will keep on coming at her for seemingly hiding evidence of her Ozempic use or whether they can learn to accept Lizzo’s new look and just move on.
