Over the past few years, former NFL tight end Dan Campbell has worked his way up the coaching ranks in the league to become the leader on the sideline for the Detroit Lions and completely change the culture for the once-struggling franchise.
After making it to the NFC Championship Game last season, Campbell has his Lions firing on all cylinders once again during the 2024 NFL season, with Detroit now sporting an impressive record of 10-1 after getting the best of the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday on the road at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Along with being one of the best coaches in the NFL and potentially having the top team in the league at the moment, Campbell still sports a physique as if he’s ready to suit up and get back on the football field.
Apparently, Campbell’s sheer size and the kind of shape he’s in at 48 years old was something that former Colts punter Pat McAfee of ESPN won’t soon forget via NFL Network.
“He is vast,” McAfee said.

At 6’5″ and seemingly all muscle, Campbell is an intimidating human being from a physical perspective, but it has been his coaching and ability to turn things around for the Lions that has been truly impressive.
At this point, the Lions have their sights set on locking up the top seed in the NFC, securing the NFC North division title, and clinching a first-round bye in the NFL playoffs, which looks like something they’ll likely be able to do.
