This year’s NFL rookie class was hyped as the best in many years, and to a large extent, it hasn’t disappointed so far.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has taken the league by storm while unexpectedly making the Washington Commanders into winners right away.
Meanwhile, Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos got off to a rocky start, but lately, he has strung together some impressive performances while thrusting his team into the race for an AFC wild-card spot.
Although Daniels is still the betting favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, Nix is starting to climb the ladder when it comes to the odds of winning the award.
Entering Week 10, Nix was +3000 to win it, while Daniels was an overwhelming favorite at -1200.
Now, Nix is at +125 while Daniels is just -150, according to ESPN BET.

Denver has been starving for a true franchise QB ever since Peyton Manning retired following the 2015 season.
Nix, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 draft, threw for 4,508 yards and 45 touchdowns and set an NCAA FBS record by completing 77.4 percent of his pass attempts last season at the University of Oregon.
In his first two NFL games, he threw four interceptions, and he didn’t throw his first NFL touchdown pass until Week 4. But since then, he has been excellent.
He has 2,548 passing yards and 16 passing touchdowns while adding 300 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Thanks to Nix’s growth, Denver has a 7-5 record and a real chance at earning its first playoff appearance since it won Super Bowl 50 in the 2015 season.
