After talking to Jacq upon finding and capturing all four hundred Pokémon that can be found in Paldea, the player is rewarded with the Shiny Charm, which increases the odds of encountering a Shiny Pokémon in the wild.
The Shiny Charm does not affect wild Tera Pokémon or Pokémon found in Tera Raid Battles.
The Shiny Charm is incredibly useful for those who wish to Shiny hunt for specific wild Pokémon. The odds of finding a Shiny Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet are rather low, only about 1 in 4096. Fortunately, the Shiny Charm raises those odds to 1 in 1365, allowing for players to have a slightly easier time finding these rare Pokémon during their journey.

Once this certificate is received, a special ribbon will also be added to the player’s profile, allowing them to show all their friends that they have successfully managed to truly catch them all.
There are numerous rewards that players can receive as they fill out the Pokédex, but only a few are special enough to commemorate actually completing it. With the ability to get increased Shiny odds, a rare Poké Ball, and a special certificate of completion, many players will want to get their hands on these as soon as possible.
