Analyst Admits He Was Wrong To Write Off 1 NBA Team

Analyst Admits He Was Wrong To Write Off 1 NBA Team

The 2024-25 NBA season has been quite the roller coaster for the Milwaukee Bucks after starting off on a poor note.

The Bucks were considered a possible power in the Eastern Conference, but several warning flags were raised when they got off to a 2-8 start.

Milwaukee boasts two legitimate superstars in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, but the pair hadn’t quite found its footing together.

Meanwhile, the supporting cast was inconsistent and failed to offer much support to the stars when needed.

However, head coach Doc Rivers has found a way to get his team back on track as they’ve won five of their past six games.

After previously doubting them, analyst Gerald Brown recently gave the Bucks credit for turning their season around.

“I wrote ’em off,” Brown said, via SiriusXM NBA Radio. “I wrote ’em off and said, ‘You know what, they might not be able to make it to the trade deadline.’ And that still might be the case, but they’ve had a turnaround somewhat and I’ve gotta give credit where credit is due.”

Brown explained that he was concerned with how Milwaukee was playing and losing games, but praised it for being able to right the ship and establish a winning streak.

It’s still early in the regular season, so things can change, but it’s good to see that the Bucks are finding their identity on the floor.

For now, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not this recent surge is for real or just a fleeting moment.
