Ruben Amorim will pick his first starting lineup since taking over at Manchester United this afternoon. The Portuguese head coach will take his team to Portman Road to face Ipswich for his first game in charge.
Kick-off is at 4.30pm, but it is likely that Amorim has already made his decisions over who will be in his starting XI for the match. He officially started his role as United head coach at the start of the international break and has taken training for the last week.
That week would have seen players on international duty trickle back into the squad as they look to make an instant impression on the new boss. Two players who would have had slightly longer to impress the head coach are wingers Antony and Amad.

Antony has struggled for game time so far this season, featuring in just two Premier League games. He was an unused substitute for the 3-0 win over Leicester before the international break. Before that, he was out of the squad for the previous two times.
The Brazilian has now hinted he will at least be part of the matchday squad against Ipswich. He has shared a pre-match video on his Instagram story.
Amad has found more regular game time easier, and impressed when he started against Leicester. The winger provided an assist for Bruno Fernandes’ opener and played the full 90 minutes of the match.
While he’s not shared a pre-match graphic, the 22-year-old has still taken to Instagram. On Saturday evening he posted a picture of a United pre-match huddle, along with a red and white hearst and a bicep emoji, hinting that he could be part of the lineup again this weekend.
One United player who was away on international duty is full-back Diogo Dalot. He played twice for Portugal over the break and has been a regular for United this season, starting all 11 league games so far.
He has hinted that is not going to change this week. Like Antony, he has posted a graphic previewing the game against Ipswich on his Instagram story.
What position Dalot could play in is still to be seen. Amorim’s preferred formation is a 3-4-2-1, meaning that Dalot could be deployed in either wing-back role.
