It’s that time of the NFL season when certain teams are circling the drain and clinging to any shred of hope they can find to get them through to the offseason on a high note.
According to one analyst, a particular team is struggling mightily, and he believes that “they quit” and are “lazy.”
On CBS Sports’ NFL pregame show, Pete Prisco called out the New York Jets, saying, “They don’t tackle, they quit on tape, they’re lazy…it’s just not a good football team.”

This isn’t exactly a hot take, as the Jets have already fired their head coach and general manager.
This week, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that quarterback Aaron Rodgers could be on his way out of town next and indicated that he wants to play elsewhere next year.
The team or Rodgers has yet to address these reports, but all the evidence at this juncture points toward a messy divorce.
The Jets are 3-8 and currently on their bye week, so it’ll be interesting to see if any of these recent reports get addressed or if the team can come together and end the season positively.
Rodgers’ on-field play hasn’t been up to his MVP level of the past, but he has been solid.
The problem is that the circus surrounding him has not been worth the product on the field, which is why this team is ripping apart at the seams.
