The 2024 NFL regular season has been rough, to say the least, for the Dallas Cowboys, who have dealt with a lot of costly injuries to star players that have essentially derailed any chance of this team being playoff-bound this year.
The biggest blow for America’s Team has been star quarterback Dak Prescott suffering a hamstring injury that resulted in ending his season prematurely, forcing Dallas to turn to Cooper Rush to be the starting quarterback moving forward.
With Rush under center moving forward, many have written off the Cowboys as a potential threat to any opponent they’ll face from here on out, especially the division-rival Washington Commanders, who have been neck and neck with the Philadelphia Eagles as the best team in the NFC East.
However, Sunday’ was a different story, as the Cowboys put it on the Commanders on the road at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, resulting in one of the biggest upsets of Week 12 via FOX Sports: NFL.

This could turn out to be a significant loss for the Commanders, who have looked like one of the best teams in the NFC throughout the 2024 NFL season, with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels looking like a legitimate superstar and the future face of the storied franchise.
It will also be a confidence boost for the Cowboys, even if it is too late for the team to bounce back and get into the playoff picture in the NFC.
