Throughout the 2024 NFL season, rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels have been two young players who have gotten a lot of attention since being taken No. 1 and No. 2 in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Although Williams has shown flashes for the Chicago Bears, and Daniels has become a breakout star for the Washington Commanders, Bo Nix, who was the sixth quarterback taken in the first round of the draft, has seemingly outshined them both after Week 12.
Nix has been living up to the comparisons to New Orleans Saints legend Drew Brees as he has been successful with a unique style of play under head coach Sean Payton on the Denver Broncos, resulting in seven wins thus far and a real chance to make the playoffs.
Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports seems to be all in on Nix moving forward.
“There is nothing here that doesn’t look like a star franchise quarterback,” Cowherd said on “The Herd.”

Fortunately for Nix and the Broncos, the season’s final stretch provides opportunities to continue adding wins, as they’ll take on the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs.
Even though the last five games have some challenges, especially facing the Chargers, Bengals and Chiefs in the final three games, Denver is more than capable of winning all five, and if it can pull that off, the postseason will be interesting for this better-than-expected squad led by a rookie quarterback.
