Matthew Perry‘s death was quickly embroiled in scandal when the authorities charged five people for being linked to his Ketamine overdose. Things became even more suspicious when his live-in assistant, as well as two doctors and a drug dealer nicknamed “Ketamine Queen” were arrested.

Among these, there was one named Erik Fleming as well who was listed as the middleman in the entire scandal. Amid this, Fleming also has some Hollywood roots and has worked as a director in the industry. Not only that, but he also directed Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes in the 1999s children’s comedy My Brother the Pig.

He also worked on projects such as Tyrone and the reality show The Surreal Life. Despite having a good career, he got into Ketamine distribution and used to organize drug sales between suppliers and buyers, including Perry’s live in assistant.

Just days before the actor’s overdose, he apparently delivered 50 vials of Ketamine, half of which were sold shortly before the tragedy. After his arrest, Fleming pled guilty to drug conspiracy charges and now faces up to 25 years in prison.
