Eight officers specially trained to deal with the country’s most violent inmates removed the murder suspect from his isolation cell this afternoon.

The chief suspect in the murder of Martin Salinger at Cloverhill Prison was transferred to a specialist unit in the Midlands Prison this afternoon in a major security operation.
Eight prison officers from the National Violence Reduction Unit (NVRU), who are specially trained to deal with the country’s most violent inmates, removed the murder suspect from his isolation cell at 3pm this afternoon.
