A landlord who argued his tenant devalued his property by carrying out alterations has lost a claim for damages after the rental watchdog heard he sold the house for €100,000 more than its valuation price.
Kevin Dowd had been renting a house in Abbeycartron, Co Longford, to tenant Tracey Carty for 10 years.
