I’ve tested numerous Keurig coffee makers, and while I love the convenience, in all honest I probably wouldn’t spend more than $100 on one unless it came with lots of additional features. Just note that some shoppers mentioned the machine can get a bit messy, as this reviewer explained: “When the machine works it works well. Several times now though coffee grounds have come out of the pod and into the machine. This is a mess to clean up; no matter how well you clean, you get grounds in your coffee. I’ve had two other Keurigs and they did not have this problem.”
Another, who likes the Keurig but finds the descaling sensor to be “too sensitive,” explained: “This is a good coffeemaker. It makes a mean cup of coffee. Especially with a reusable K-cup and my personal choice of coffee. The only drawback is the constant need to descale.”
